Deano’s Restumping & House Raising is a locally owned and operated construction business working for homeowners and builders across Ipswich, Fernvale and beyond. Whether you want to reposition your home, open up living space underneath it, or simply replace stumps that have given up, we do the whole job — from the first inspection through to reconnecting the power.
We’re a small crew, which means Dean is on your site, not in an office. You get one point of contact, a straight answer on what your house actually needs, and a price that doesn’t move once the work starts.

Removing and replacing failed timber or concrete stumps, then setting the house back down level on new footings.
House raising
Lifting a home permanently to build in underneath, get clear of flood levels, or add height and value.
House releveling and bracing
Straightening dropped and sagging floors, and bracing the structure so it stays where we put it.
House sliding and on-site moving
Repositioning a house on its own block — shifting it back, forward or sideways to open up the site.
Structural steel beams
Steel bearers, posts and portal frames for open spans underneath and long-term structural support.
Dig-outs and small excavations
Tight-access earthworks — trenching for footings, digging out under-house space and preparing sites.
Council approval? We’ll handle that too
In Queensland a house can’t exceed 9.5 metres above ground level without council approval. If your plans go higher, we organise the drafting and engineering, lodge it, and get it signed off by council or a private certifier before we start lifting.
